So after the last paper I went to meet Elyssa and it was a good catch up over cheap Western food and earl grey milk tea :) And in the evening I met my sister after work and we caught Rise of the Guardians..... good sister time anyway
And the next day Si Min and I had dim sum at Cathay and walked all the way home, which took us five hours and we saw many things on the way back. We saw dead birds, a traffic accident (the wreckage I mean, and blood...), discovered a shop selling cheap bread, etc. Was craving Selegie tauhuay and youtiao but we didn't pass by Kovan unfortunately! What an adventure and it was quite funny cuz during dinner we just ate in silence cuz both of us were too tired to talk. Really thankful for the good weather toooo, especially when it's been raining so much in the month of December.
Made a trip to JB with Mummy on Monday. Didn't manage to buy anything nice but just ate damn a lot - Nando's, Secret Recipe, Baskin Robbins, and churros which tasted very weird nevertheless. We should really venture beyond City Square next time hahaha Then on Tuesday I went to get my mbp repaired for the second time grrr and met Rachel in town to hang out and have dinner. It was pouring and we just sat by the window and talked over Thai food it was a good feeling :)
Collected my mbp on Friday and conveniently had a haircut at the Kimage school of hairdressing just next door. My hair was getting out of control zzz. Anyway, it took me quite a long while cuz a trainee helped me cut my hair with her teacher's guidance. Only spent $6 and I would say it's really worth it because after the trainee is done the teacher would do quality check and do finishing touches. Saw a lady walk out with super nice dipdye hair nicely blown dry too. Oh before that I went to Raffles Place with Mummy for Boost cuz the Groupon voucher was gonna expire and on the way we had a Wonder bun and a brownie from The Brownie Factory! Lots of finger food at Raffles Place wouldn't mind working there next time hehehe
On Saturday we had an extended family outing to the zoo!!!! Thanks to Weijing we had free tickets :) :) It was enjoyable but I wish I could touch the animals especially the orang utans!!! Anyway we visited the panda exhibit as well, it was nothing much la cuz the pandas were quite antisocial. Anddddd their photos are definitely photoshopped because they were a bit like brown instead of white hahaha. The panda paus are super cute!!!!!!!!!!!! We are all suckers for cute stuff la pay $11.50 for 4 dou sha baos.... We were blessed with good weather that day too!!! :)
And todayyyy I had my first driving lesson in a month and tried to make ice-cream.... mega fail. Xin En is coming over tomorrow to cook rosti and I wanted to make ice-cream for dessert but I guess we better buy tmr.... Ummm hope our rosti turns out ok too.... Both of us never ever cook
So on the rest of the days I've been working and the job is getting really boring am determined to go somewhere else in January!!! For now I just need it to fund my driving lessons which are money sapping I hope can pass soon....
